ANCHOR UNIVERSITY HOLDS 4TH MATRICULATION

ANCHOR UNIVERSITY HOLDS 4TH MATRICULATION
Anchor University, Lagos (AUL), a faith-based University owned by the Deeper Christian Life Ministry holds her 4th Matriculation Ceremony on Friday, 6th March 2020 at the University’s Auditorium in Ayobo, Lagos.
The University, since it commenced operations three years ago, 6th February 2017, has held three Matriculation programmes and is set for the fourth Ceremony as well as her Convocation later in the year. The notable achievements and milestones of Anchor University within her first three years has re-emphasised that seriousness with which the vision of the founder, Pastor (Dr) Williams Folorunso Kumuyi, is being driven by the pioneer Vice-Chancellor, Professor Afolayan Joseph Olaseinde and his Management team.
“Anchor University is not here to add to the number of Universities in Nigeria, it is birthed with a divine mandate. We are here to nurture graduates who are competent, disciplined and who will exhibit good character anywhere they work.
In the first ten years of our existence as a University, I look forward to having Anchor University as one of the five leading Universities in Nigeria.” The Vice-Chancellor had said during an interview with a team of journalist at the inception of the University.
Today, the vision remains the same. Our students have proven their mettle on several occasions and have distinguished themselves in different national and local examinations. The quality workforce and facilities in AUL is growing every day.
We are extending the frontier of knowledge beyond the limits of the regular conventional Universities around. It is on record that since inception, despite teething and expected challenges, there has never been downtown in our programmes. We have continued to drive the vision of nurturing worthy leaders for the emerging industries and economies with the possible utmost commitment and genuineness.
The Matriculation Ceremony will begin by 10.00 am at the University’s Main Auditorium. All guests are expected to be on seats by 9.30 am.
